David Hester, LS, named Vice President and Survey Department Director 

On Thursday, July 20, 2006, David Hester, LS, was named Vice President of GeoSurvey, Ltd., and Director of the Survey Department by Trent Turk, CEO

GeoSurvey, Ltd., is pleased to announce that David Hester, LS,  has been promoted to Vice President and Land Surveying Department Director.  David recently received his registration as a Land Surveyor in the State of GA.

David began his land surveying career with GeoSurvey, Ltd. in March of 1997 after graduating from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology.  David’s first assignment was survey instrument operator, and soon thereafter he began leading a land surveying crew performing surveys throughout Georgia and South Carolina. While leading a survey field crew, he was responsible for many significant survey projects, including Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, Perimeter Place, a large scale multi-use development near Perimeter Mall, and New Manchester, a 3000 acre residential development in Douglas County.  During his tenure in the field, he continued his higher education at Southern Polytechnic State University, obtaining coursework in the field of land surveying.  David has worked as a Survey Project Manager for five years, and uses his  leadership and outdoor skills learned as an Eagle Scout to serve as a mentor and role model for others in the company.
