GeoSurvey Opens Hearts for Katrina Victims

In August of this year many of our neighbors were devastated and displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The relocation of many of these victims to our area placed an unusual financial burden on MUST Ministries here in Marietta, GA. MUST Ministries CEO John Moeller made a special plea to the members of the Marietta Kiwanis Club for help to cope with this crisis, stating that monetary contributions were greatly needed. Trent Turk, CEO of GeoSurvey, Ltd., and member of the Marietta Kiwanis Club, heard the plea and extended it to the employees of GeoSurvey.

Trent Turk, CEO, presents check to Carol Widsom of Must Ministries..The owners of GeoSurvey offered to match all contributions dollar for dollar made by the employees of the company. A payroll deduction plan was set up, enabling the employees to contribute easily. For the entire month of September, many employees of GeoSurvey "stepped up to the plate". GeoSurvey employees contributed a total of $1,675.00, and the company matched this amount. The resulting total contribution was $3,350.00, and was presented to Carol Wisdom of MUST at the offices of GeoSurvey on Wednesday, October 12, 2005.

Congratulations to all employees that offered their assistance during this time of need for MUST Ministries. Since this program was so successful, a decision has been made by management to make this an annual event at the company.
