Our Executive Staff

Trenton D. Turk, LS
CEO - President
Trenton D. Turk, LS, founded GeoSurvey, Ltd. in 1996. Trent is the president and general manager of the company. He is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University (formerly known as Southern Technical Institute) in Marietta, Georgia. He has been involved in the field of land surveying since he was 19 years old. He obtained his BSCET form SPSU in 1986, and obtained his registration as a Land Surveyor in 1988. While working for a large local engineering firm and later with a local land surveying firm, he developed a significant client base that enabled him to open a new firm, GeoSurvey, Ltd. in 1996. Trent is registered in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. He is also a past president of The Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG), and has been actively involved in the organization for over 14 years. He has served for many years as a director and currently chairs the legislative committee for the organization. He is active in North Metro Church, and is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Marietta, GA.  He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern Polytechnic State University Foundation.

Jamey R. Coleman, LS
COO - Senior Vice President
Jamey Coleman, LS, is Senior Vice President and a partner of GeoSurvey, Ltd. He is manager of all surveying operations for the company, and is a graduate of The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Jamey has over 12 years experience in land surveying, and has worked for GeoSurvey since opening day. He has extensive experience in all aspects of land surveying, including detailed boundary analysis, title report analysis, and project management. Jamey is a member of The Surveying and Mapping Society of GA, actively serving on the State Manual committee. He is also active in local civic organizations and charities. He obtained his registration as a Land Surveyor in 1998.

David Hester, LS
Vice President, Director - Survey Department
David Hester, LS,  is Vice President and Land Surveying Department Director.  David recently received his registration as a Land Surveyor in the State of GA.  David began his land surveying career with GeoSurvey, Ltd. in March of 1997 after graduating from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology.  David’s first assignment was survey instrument operator, and soon thereafter he began leading a land surveying crew performing surveys throughout Georgia.  During his tenure in the field, he continued his higher education at Southern Polytechnic State University, obtaining coursework in the field of land surveying.  While leading a survey field crew, he was responsible for many significant survey projects, including Agnes Scott College, Perimeter Place, and New Manchester.  David has worked as a Survey Project Manager for the last several years, and uses his leadership and outdoor skills learned as an Eagle Scout to serve as a mentor and role model for others in the company.
